Uclan Games Design visit EUROGAMER 2015

Friday 25th Sept. eighty of our students plus staff boarded a coach set for NEC Birmingham for EGX 2015 biggest gaming event and had an amazing day!

Here's a quote from one of our second year students:
'On the way home after the last day of Eurogamer, been the best 4 days ever and I would do anything to do it all over again! Most fun I've had in a long time and if anyone is a gamer then I would suggest going next year, the atmosphere is incredible and the feeling of relating to fellow nerds everywhere is fabulous. New Games Design Students arrive for Induction week

Great to greet all our new Games Design first year students this morning for Induction week at Uclan. There are two full groups of them with a good mix of guys and girls. Great first day getting to hear where they all come from and what type of games they like to play. Plenty of 'League of Legends' fans, Mario, Fallout, Assassin's Creed, Halo, Crash Bandicoot among the favourites. Some expressed preferences for horror games, or sport, role playing games and pc based games.
A big thankyou to our second, third and MA students who also came along to help-out' and join in the workshops.
